A “Pink” Shabbat—In support of breast cancer awareness month, Temple Israel Sisterhood will host a Shabbat service at the synagogue, 50 S. THEM: Hateful Things—The Holocaust Memorial Resource & Education Center exhibits THEM/Hateful Things from the Jim Crown Museum of Racist Memoriabilia. A sampling of racist objects and images that remind us of the power of the propaganda of everyday objects. Exhibit runs through Dec. 15. The Center is open Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m .; Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 4 p. There is no admission charge.

“The Best of Enemies”—Orlando Shakespeare Theater in partnership with the Holocaust Memorial Resource & Education Center present this play through Nov. 16—with a dedicated fundraiser showing on Oct. 26 for the Holocaust Center—in the Goldman Theater at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center, 812 East Rollins Street, Orlando. Girl’s Night Out—An evening of fashion, food and shopping at Neiman Marcus at the Mall at Millenia, 4170 Conroy Rd. from 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m. Cost: $45 ($36 JCC members) includes fashion show by Neiman Marcus, drinks, food and shopping.
