Party After Dark for Shayna’s Village—The Roth JCC will celebrate the anniversary of the Shayna Cai Presser Parenting Center and recognize its founders, Es Cohen and her sons, Justin and Matt Presser. 8 p.m. at the Roth JCC. Veterans Day observance—Congregation Beth Am invites all Jewish Veterans, military men and women on active duty and their families, and surviving families of those who served our country to attend Shabbat morning service at 9:30 a.m. at the synagogue. All military personnel, past and present, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Jewish War Veterans and spouses of veterans will be honored.

Kristallnacht remembered—Commemoration held in the JCC auditorium at 4 p.m., featuring a program of Music of Courage performed by Dr. Rose Grace on piano and Dr. Aaron Hilbun on oboe. This event is open to the public and free.

THEM: Hateful Things—The Holocaust Memorial Resource & Education Center exhibits THEM/Hateful Things from the Jim Crown Museum of Racist Memoriabilia. A sampling of racist objects and images that remind us of the power of the propaganda of everyday objects. Exhibit runs through Dec. 15. The Center is open Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 4 p. There is no admission charge.
