Congregation Beth Am—Bloodmobile at the synagogue, 3899 Sand Lake Road, Longwood, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. For every pint of blood collected $10 will be sent to American Friends of Magen David Adom.

Kinneret Senior Health Care Expo—Over 40 health care vendors participate in this expo, 1 p.m.—3:30 p.m. in the Delaney Dining Room at Kinneret Apartments, 414 S. Delaney Ave., Orlando. Open to the public.

Jewish Academy of Orlando—Parenting class, held first Thursday of each month from 8:15 a.m.—9 a.m. in the library. Bagels, coffee and cake will be served. You do not have to have a student at the school to attend. Parents, grandparents and anyone raising children are welcome.

Lecture series—The Interfaith Council of Central Florida presents a series of lectures on various religious beliefs in our society, the first and third Friday of the month, from 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. at Brookdale Retirement Community, located at 160 Islander Court, Longwood. No charge.
