Martin David Schwam, age 76, of Altamonte Springs, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, at Cornerstone Hospice at Orlando Health. He was born on May 21, 1940, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Abraham and Bessie Goldstein Schwam.

On Dec. 21, 1963, in New York, Martin married the former Joan Sharri Lowy, his wife of over 52 years who survives him. He worked as a service supervisor in the airline industry (TWA) prior to retiring to the Orlando area from Long Island in 2005.

In addition to his wife, Martin is survived by his son, Adam (Dina) Schwam of Senoia, Ga.; and daughters, Amy (Thomas) Watson of E. Islip, N.Y., and Camy (Jeffrey) Wilcox of Altamonte Springs. He was also the loving grandfather of Rebecca, Robert, Marissa, Bella, Emily, Jordan, Riley and Bradleigh. His sister, Sandra Costello predeceased him.

Funeral services and interment were held in New Jersey at Cedar Park/Beth El Cemetery.
