Book Club Discussion with Author and Holocaust Survivor Simone Arnold Liebster

Sunday, Aug. 28 at 1:30 p.m.

Simone Arnold, a Jehovah's Witness, was an ordinary French schoolgirl -spirited and stubborn. When the Nazis rose to power, teachers spouted Nazi propaganda and school officials recruited for the Hitler Youth. Simone's family rejected Nazi racism and violence, and like other Witnesses they paid a price for their faith.

We will discuss her memoir titled "Facing the Lion" with the author via Skype from France. Don't miss this opportunity to "meet" Simone Arnold Liebster.

Sonja Marchesano

As always, these programs are open to the entire community free of charge, and reservations are not required. If you have any questions please email or call Terrance at 407-628-0555.
