Join the Congregation of Reform Judaism (CRJ) in your jammies (adults too!) for pizza, crafts, and a special milk and cookies story time with Rabbi Engel, Cantor Jacki, and Ms. Lauren. CRJ is proud to present its first Havdalah Pajama as part of an all new youth program headed up by Lauren Oback, CRJ’s new director of Programming and Youth Engagement. Havdalah Pajama is a free program for children ages 1-6 and their families in the Orlando community (CRJ membership not required), but please RSVP https://crjorlando.org/pajama-havdalah/ The program will be held at CRJ, 928 Malone Drive, Orlando FL 32810 in the Goldman Social Hall.

In addition to this program for young children, CRJ offers many more programs for our community’s youth, and CRJ membership is not required. Congregation of Reform Judaism strives to create as many outlets for engagement as possible for children and teens ages 1—18.

For toddlers through preschoolers CRJ offers Tot Shabbat on the first Friday of every month at 5:30 p.m. featuring a sing-a-long with Rabbi Engel and Cantor Jacki. Children in Pre-k and Kindergarten come together for an innovative Jewish and social experience in the Pee-Wee program while 1st and 2nd graders, in Yeladim, experience exciting hands on programming incorporating sports, art, Jewish holidays and much more that will be sure to entertain and engage our young members.

Chaverim is CRJ’s youth group for third and fourth graders will connect through sports, art, music and exciting field trips. Fifth and sixth graders will build strong connections while participating in programs like Limo Scavenger Hunt, Bubble Soccer, Kickball H20, a Mystery Bus Ride and much more. Seventh through twelfth graders are in for an awesome experience in Jr. GORFTY and GORFTY (Greater Orlando Reform Federation Temple Youth). CRJ engages Jewish seventh and eighth graders and youth advisers for innovative, diverse and fun programs and meets as a part of YALE on Monday nights and sporadically throughout the month. For High schoolers, CRJ has created a place for Jewish teens to feel totally comfortable, wanted, accepted, a place that offers really cool programs connecting fun, social action, leadership, community and Judaism.
