On a recent Friday night, love and warmth permeated throughout the room. The Jewish Pavilion partnered up for an intergenerational Shabbat dinner with Horizon Bay Lake Orienta and Our Jewish Orlando. A handful of young Jewish professionals came to share a Shabbat with the residents at Horizon Bay on Boston Avenue. The chefs wanted made sure it felt like "home," cooking everyones' favorite Jewish dishes.

Resident Bill Frigen summed up the night perfectly when asked how he enjoyed it. "What an wonderful feeling it is here, to be involved with the younger group too. And the interactions were like family. There was such a sense of being together and of sharing and it was a very relaxed and fun. The brisket... oy vey! I wanted to take it up with me for later, it was so good! And we all had a great time. And look forward to doing it again soon."

Successful programs, such as an evening like this, are the reason the Jewish Pavilion exists.
