Ruth Anna Maniloff, age 93, of Fern Park, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017, at Savannah Court #3, in Oviedo. A native of Taunton, Mass., she was born on Dec. 15, 1923, to the late Joseph and Mary Cornez Schein. She was a high school graduate and worked for the United States government.

Family and music were Ruth’s passion and delights. Her singing group would travel around town singing at nursing homes and retirement communities.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Sharon Morris of Winter Springs. She is also survived by beloved grandsons, Marvin and Johnny Thurman; and four precious great-grandchildren, Christopher, Samantha, Joshua and Ariel. She also leaves behind four brothers, Irving, Harold, Arnie, and Eddie. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Norman and sisters, Lillian and Ethel.

A funeral service was held at Congregation Agudath Achim followed by burial at Mt Nebo Cemetery in Taunton, Mass. Arrangements entrusted to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel. 640 Lee Road, Orlando 32810.
