Multifaith Education Project and city of Winter Park plant trees for peace

Christian, Jewish and Muslim students and faculty, representing the Geneva Christian School, the Jewish Academy and the Leaders Preparatory School join together to plant trees for peace.

On Tuesday, April 9 the city of Winter Park and the Multifaith Education Project got together for the 10th annual Trees for Peace Interfaith Tree Planting Project at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park. Mayor Kenneth Bradley began the ceremony at 11:30 a.m. and the program was led by Louise Franklin Sheehy, director of the Multifaith Education Project.

More than 100 Christian, Jewish and Muslim students and faculty, representing The Geneva Christian School, The Jewish Academy and The Leaders Preparatory School came together to plant 10 trees for peace.
