Lea Michele’s farewell to Finn

NEW YORK (6nobacon.com)—Lea Michele took the stage at Sunday night’s Teen Choice Awards in her first televised appearance since boyfriend Cory Monteith’s death in July. The Jewish “Glee” actress used her time up there to dedicate her Choice TV Actress-Comedy award to Monteith.

“I want to dedicate this award to Cory,” she said, choked up. “He was very special to me, and also to the world, and we were very lucky to witness his incredible talent, his handsome smile, and his beautiful, beautiful heart. So whether you knew him personally or just as Finn Hudson, Cory reached out and he became a part of all of our hearts—and that’s where he’ll stay forever, so thank you guys so much.”

Found: Jerry Lewis’ Holocaust film 

Excerpts from a Holocaust-themed film by Jerry Lewis, which the actor swore recently would never see the light of day, has made its way to YouTube.

The leaked footage was a behind-the-scenes clip of “The Day The Clown Cried,” a 1972 film shot in Sweden about a clown who entertains children in Nazi death camps. Narrated in Flemish, the video was posted recently and picked up by the online media publisher Gawker late Sunday.

Lewis has disavowed the film, most recently at this year’s Cannes Film Festival in an interview with Reuters.

“It was all bad and it was bad because I lost the magic,” the iconic comic said. “You will never see it, no one will ever see it, because I am embarrassed at the poor work.”

Princess Caroline’s Jewish son-in-law

Princess Caroline of Monaco will soon be able to count a very funny Jewish member of her family. Her daughter Charlotte Casiraghi, 27, is newly engaged to Gad Elmaleh, a Morroccan-born French actor and stand-up comedian. The two also are expecting their first child.

It will be the first child for Casiraghi, who also is the granddaughter of Grace Kelly, the late actress and princess of Monaco. Elmaleh, 42, has a 12-year-old with ex Anne Brochet.

While Elmaleh is not particularly well known in the United States, he has had a few Hollywood roles, including the French voice of Gru in “Despicable Me” and a small part in Woody Allen’s “Midnight in Paris.”

Jemima Kirke jumps on Jay-Z

Jemima Kirke has officially joined the ranks of women who have thrown themselves at Jay Z.

According to witnesses, during a filming of a performance video promoting his new album, Jay Z rapped the track “Picasso Baby” to an audience made up of members of the art world, including the “Girls” star.

The seven-hour shoot must have made her a bit stir crazy because at one point Kirke, whose grandparents are of Iraqi-Israeli decent, jumped on the rapper’s back and stayed there until she was removed by security.

“She was acting totally nuts!” a witness told the New York Daily News. “She kept jumping on his back like a little monkey.”

Apparently Jay Z kept his cool, rhyming continuously throughout the overzealous hugfest. The music video’s director, Mark Romanek, denied the claims, calling them “utter bull****.”

Amy’s T-shirts 

The owners of Amy’s Baking Company, the Arizona couple who gained notoriety for their offensive behavior on Gordon Ramsay’s “Kitchen Nightmares,” are offering their own line of merch to help out the families of firefighters in the state who lost their lives fighting a blaze in the spring.

Samy and Amy Bouzaglo are selling a T-shirt for $30 with a line that seems to fit their philosophy: “Here’s Your Pizza go F**K yourself!” According to The Daily Dot, a portion of the sales will go to assist the firefighters’ families.

No word on if any of it will go toward legal fees that Samy, a Moroccan-Israeli, may have incurred while fighting deportation over drug distribution and extortion charges.

Spielberg’s comings and goings

For the second time this year, Steven Spielberg has dropped a big film project.

Deadline.com reports that Spielberg said he will no longer direct “American Sniper,” the film adaptation of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle’s autobiography starring Bradley Cooper. In January, he indefinitely halted progress on the sci-fi movie “Robopocalypse.” 

Spielberg’s tentativeness is nothing new. The legendary director spent 11 years getting “Lincoln” into shape before committing to it.

But fear not, Spielberg fans. Following the success of “Under the Dome,” his collaboration with Stephen King, CBS is adding a Spielberg production to its lineup that is set to air next summer. 

According to The Wrap, “Extant” will tell the story of a female astronaut “struggling to adapt to life on earth after a year in space.” Making it moredifficult: Our heroine is pregnant with a human-alien hybrid and already has a robot son.

Charlie’s angels

Charlie Sheen is probably still recovering from his Hawaiian vacation; the one with three porn stars.

For a few blissfully innocent hours, all we knew about his topless “angels,” as he calls them, was that one was blond, one brunette and the other a redhead. Then TMZ reported that the three women are porn stars (surprise, surprise).

One apparently is Jewish: Jayme Langford, the redhead, studied bioethics at the University of Judaism in Los Angeles. According to TMZ, UJ officials pulled Langford’s financial aid after learning of her film career.

Langford’s Wikipedia page features a photo of the actress wearing a Chai necklace.
