Yom HaShoah commemoration—The Holocaust Center will observe Yom HaShoah with guest speaer Joanie Holzer Schirm, author of “Adventurers Against Their Will.” The interfaith service will include Orlando City Commissioner Patty Sheehan and the Rev. Willie Barnes of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and A Gift for Music Chamber Orchestra. Held in the Roth JCC gym at 4 p.m. Open to the community, no admission charge and reservations are not required.


Community-wide Yom HaShoah service—Jewish Federation of Volusia and Flagler Counties hosts day of remembrance, 7 p.m. Guest speaker Dr. Bernd Woolschaeger shares personal story. Held at Temple Israel of Daytona Beach, 1400 S. Peninsula Dr.

Camp J pool party—Games, food and fun at Roth JCC pool, 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Campers who are registered for Camp J can attend the event Free. Info: Lita Weinberg, 407-645-5933.

Once Upon a Brunch—JCC’s Jack & Lee Rosen Campus host a family brunch from noon – 2 p.m. Live character performances, craft stations, raffles and a dance party.
