Anyone who follows the actions in the Middle East or Islamic communities readily becomes aware that Muslims continuously make demands on their non-Islamic neighbors.
One would assume they come to westernized countries like the U.S. for a better way of life. Yet through their ongoing demands it appears they want to convert our lives to the strict oppressive Islamic life style they’ve left.
For example, the Council on American-Islamic Relation’s (CAIR-MI) Executive Director Dawud Walid, sent a complaint letter to the Michigan Roseville Public Schools stating that “School staff and teachers are not to serve as advocates for one particular religion by passing out slips inviting parents to give permission for their children to attend religious instruction.” Yet he offered a booklet, called “An Educator’s Guide to Islamic Religious Practices” a book that elevates Islam.
As is common for Muslim communities, Muslims in New York City are demanding special treatment at the expense of non-Muslims. They demand public schools cater to their religious food limitations. They prepared a video showing kids telling how heartbreaking it is to have to eat peanut butter and jelly, or bring something from home. It makes them feel different. Interesting that their Arabic clothing (i.e. hajib) does not make them feel different.
The vegetarian options offered are insufficient to satisfy their demands. Could it be that their intention is to have non-Muslims submit to Islam one step at a time?
During the public comment period in February 2014, at the Dearborn city council meeting, a Muslim, Mr. Hassan, demanded that the city institute sharia patrols to keep young people out of parks and to prevent the sale of “offensive” magazines in stores.

It has been confirmed by a number of studies that Muslim demands increase as the percentage of Muslims increases.
The following is from an Atlas Shrugs’ post adapted from Dr. Peter Hammond’s book: “Slavery, Terrorism & Islam: Historical Roots and Contemporary Threat.” When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well.
Here’s how it works. As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2 percent in any given country, they will, be for the most part, regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in: United States 0.6 percent, Australia 1.5 percent, Canada 1.7 percent.
At 2 percent to 5 percent, they begin to proselytize other ethnic minorities and recruit from within jails and street gangs. This is happening in: Denmark 2 percent, Germany 3.7 percent, United Kingdom 2.7 percent.
From 5 percent on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population.
For example, they will pressure supermarkets for the introduction of halal food on supermarket shelves. They will threaten for failure to comply. This will secure food preparation jobs for Muslims. This occurred in: France 8 percent Philippines 5 percent, Sweden 5 percent.
At this point, they will demand the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves (within their ghettos) under Sharia, the Islamic Law. Another example of their demands is in Bridgeview, IL. A Muslim school wanted its girls’ basketball team to play road games against non-Muslim schools insisting that men and teenage boys are banned from observing their daughters and sisters. Again non-Muslims are being pressured to adhere to the Muslim faith. In Australia, Muslims succeeded in requiring anyone using a public swimming pool to wear Muslim approved clothing during the period of Ramadan.
Muslim leaders around the world, such as Anjem Choudary, in Britain, want to stop everyone from celebrating Christmas and wishing “ Merry Christmas.” He threatened that there would be “hell to pay.”

This is how islam work. You can see it if you intensely follow their progress. I also know Peter Hammond and he is not a bigot. He is an expert on Islam with firsthand experience of what they did so far in Africa, especially in Sudan. He was there when the muslim regime bombed a church while they were busy inside. Muslims are NEVER EVER satisfied, they will never budge an inch to an 'infidel'. Negotiations with Israel is a good example.

The phenomenon which the author observes in this article is shared by any interest group and these same predictions are likely accurate as well. Of course as an organization grows in membership or stake-holding, it's influence correspondingly increases. Islam may seem threatening because it is growing very quickly and is very different from the normative American experience. The future belongs to God alone, but the world may see very drastic changes within this generation as a result.

So true, but only under the current PC regime. It's almost entirely up to us what happens next. By re-discovering, retaining and promoting our western principles of liberty and open inquiry we make it uncomfortable for those from other traditions who live here. In that case they either adapt and adopt - the traditional route for immigrants - or go.
