SUNDAY, JULY 26

J.O.IN. Orlando—Hosts an interactive discussion titled: The Joy of Jewish Holidays” at 8 a.m. Shacharis at Orlando Torah Center, 8591 Banyan Blvd., Orlando. Breakfast included.

MONDAY, JULY 27

Israeli Folk Dancing—7-7:30 p.m. beginners, 7:30-8:15 p.m. instruction, 8:15-10 p.m., requests. Cost: Free for JCC members, $5 nonmembers. Info: 407-645-5933.

Holocaust Center—Remembering Ravensbruck art exhibit through Sept. 25. Highlights the experiences of women in the Holocaust. Created by Kennesaw State University Public History and German Studies programs and the Ravensbruck Memorial Site.


Mondays at 1 (and 7)—Congregation Ohev Shalom’s daytime (and now evening) adult education program is back with a new 3-part series called “Fiddling with Tradition—The Cultural Phenomenon of Fiddler on the Roof.” Sessions are at 1 p.m. and repeated at 7 p.m. at COS. TUESDAY, JULY 28

Torah & Tea—Women’s study group meeting weekly from 9:30—10:30 a.m. in the Conference Room at the Chabad Center of Jewish Life, 7347 W. Sand Lake Road, Orlando. The group is open to all women. Admission is free and no previous Jewish education is required.


WEDNESDAY, JULY 29

Holocaust Center—Partnering with the Interfaith Council of Central Florida, the Center presents Religion: Understanding our tapestry of faiths, from 2-3:30 p.m. through Aug. 5. Each session will feature representatives of two faith communities. Cost is $15, which includes the book “How to be a perfect stranger.” Pre-registration is required to Susan Mitchell, susan@holocaustedu.org or hand-delivered to the Center.
