Evelyn Koenig, age 91, passed away on July 21, 2015, at her residence in Orlando. Mrs. Koenig was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Nov. 16, 1923, to the late Morris and Ann Figer Grubstein and was the widow of the late Albert Koenig who passed away in 2001.

A homemaker, Evelyn and Albert relocated to the Orlando area from New York in 1970 and became active members of Congregation of Liberal Judaism (now CRJ).

Mrs. Koenig is survived by her daughters, Ami (Barry) Pope of Orlando and Carol (Joe) Delgado of Clearwater; her sister, Sheila Grubstein of Orlando; and a grandson, Jason.

Funeral services were held at the Ohev Shalom Pavilion with Rabbi Steven W. Engel officiating. nterment followed in the family plot at the cemetery.
