Eleanor “Ellie” Tross, age 90, of Altamonte Springs, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at her residence. Mrs. Tross was born on May 4, 1925, to the late David and Rae Witt Goldstein, in Brooklyn, New York.

On Sept. 7, 1946 in New York, she married Robert Tross, her husband of 62 years, who passed away on May 18, 2009. In 1969, the family relocated to the Orlando area from Savannah. Mrs. Tross worked as the bookkeeper for the family business, E&B Liquidators.

Long-time members of Temple Israel, Ellie and Bob were part of a group of friends who socialized and celebrated together.

Mrs. Tross is survived by her daughter, Sheri (Joseph) Denberg of Maitland; and son, Michael of Altamonte Springs. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Dara Denberg, Lori Denberg and Ryan Tross.

A graveside service was held at Temple Israel Cemetery, Gotha, with Rabbi Joshua Neely officiating. The family requests contributions in memory of Eleanor G. Tross to Temple Israel, 50 S.
