No time to sleep when a visitor comes

When visiting the frail and elderly, one will often find them asleep. A combination of nothing to do, medication and possibly depression lead to constant napping.

"Wake them up," says Nancy Ludin, executive director of the Jewish Pavilion. "They can sleep any time, while a visit is always special."

Thelma at Life Care is thrilled to be woken up each week to enjoy goodies from the Jewish Pavilion. Here she is pictured with Ludin, sweets, a calendar from Janice Kagan and a shawl from Susan Olsson.

The Jewish Pavilion welcomes gifts from the community that are hand delivered by volunteers to our elders.
