Elizabeth G. Michaels—Elisheva bat Feivel v’Shayna - age 88, of Altamonte Springs, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017, at Florida Hospital—Altamonte. A native of Sandersville, Georgia, she was born on Dec. 3, 1928, to the late Phillip and Sonia Volk Goodrich. She attended college and owned and operated retail clothing stores. She moved to Florida from Georgia in 1950, and in 1966 relocated to the Orlando area. She was a long-time member of Congregation Ohev Shalom.

Mrs. Michaels is survived by her son, Allan; and daughters, Phyllis and Rebecca (Ken) Jacques of Windermere; and two grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service was held at Congregation Ohev Shalom Cemetery with Rabbi Hillel Skolnik and Cantor Doug Ramsay of Southwest Orlando Jewish Congregation and Rabbi Ed Cohen of United Synagogue of Greater Hartford officiating.
