Alvin M. Sarnoff, DDS, age 93, of Longwood, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs. Born in New York City on Aug. 30, 1924, he was a son of the late Julius and Martha Sapirstein Sarnoff. He was graduate of New York University College of Dentistry and served in the US Army during WWII in Europe.

Dr. Sarnoff is survived by his daughters Jill (James) Riola of Oviedo and Lisa Gotchman of New Jersey. He is also survived by his grandson, Jordan Gotchman; and his brother, Charles Sarnoff. His wife of 55 years, Barbara Lesser Sarnoff, passed away in 2005.
