Each year, Jewish teens across our community come together to join in a worldwide day of Jewish youth community service, called J-Serve. This unique, teen-led program provides participants a unique opportunity to band together through service as a united global network committed to fulfilling the Jewish values of gemilut chasidim, acts of loving kindness; tzedakah, just and charitable giving; and tikun olam, the responsibility to repair the world.

J-Serve is an annual day that our Orlando teens care deeply about. In order to make our day of service a huge success, a Teen Task force is appointed to select causes that teens are passionate about and to plan programs that allow teens to serve and advocate for the causes that are important to them. The 2018-2019 J-Serve Teen Task force is already hard at work planning for the spring. This year’s program will take place on Sunday, April 7, 1 p.m.- 5 p.m., and is open to teens in grades 6-12.
