George C. Goodman, age 84, of Orlando, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Encore at Avalon Park. A native of Providence, Rhode Island, he was born on Jan. 7, 1935, to the late Charles and Hilda Deluty Goodman. He married the former Marcia Cutler on Aug. 1, 1956, in Providence. Following their relocation to the Orlando area in 1978, George worked for over 20 years in the maintenance department at Walt Disney World. Marcia predeceased him on Feb. 18, 2016.

George is survived by his son Jeffrey (Waynell) Goodman of Hawaii and his daughters, Honi-Ann (William) Degnan of Rhode Island and Lisa (Charles) Trinkwald of Rhode Island, and Kerri (Dennis) Bode of Orlando. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at Beth Israel Cemetery, Gotha, with Rabbi Arnold Siegel of Jewish Family Services officiating.
