Special thanks to Nancy Layish for starting the Cookies for Comfort Caravan for the Jewish Pavilion. Layish and others are home-baking cookies for healthcare workers who devote their lives to seniors in elder-care communities. The first delivery took place on April 6.The cookies were delivered along with cards and letters given to the Jewish Pavilion to distribute to seniors at Brookdale Altamonte Springs. The staff expressed their sincere appreciation for the gift.
