Annette Kahan Brener, age 93, of Oviedo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 23, 2020, at AdventHealth Hospice in Altamonte Springs. A Brooklyn, N.Y., native, she was born on Feb. 17,1927, to the late Philip and Ester Flug Kahan. Annette was a high school graduate, and for many years owned and operated a motel in the Poconos with her late husband, Michael. Annette and Michael were married on July 12, 1970, in Brookliyn and were married for 47 years when he passed away in 2017.

Annette is survived by her daughters, Carol and Fran; her grandchildren—Shoshana, Eric, Jason, and Jillian; and her great-grandchildren—Mark, Aaron, Sara, Jayce, Eric, Jasper, Landon, and one more great-grandchild on the way.

Due to the coronavirus, a private family graveside service was held with Rabbi Arnold Siegel of Jewish Family Services officiating.
