Back by popular demand - Men's Night Out (In)

September 25, 2020

Dessert and wine will be sent to each home for Men's Night In (the food depicted is not necessarily what will be in the gift package).

For the past four years, Orlando synagogue Men's Clubs, with support from the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando, generous premier sponsors Alan Ginsburg and Aaron Gorovitz, and several other sponsors, have brought three generations of Jewish men together for an evening of camaraderie, top-shelf cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, prime rib dinner (catered by Arthur's) and entertainment by a recognized comedian. This year we will be hosting the event via a commercial version of Zoom. So save the date, Thursday, Nov. 5. Dessert and wine will be sent out to each home, enough for six people. There also will be virtual/table meeting rooms.

Men's Night Out (renamed Men's Night In this year) is a collaborative outreach program designed to bring all affiliated and unaffiliated Jewish men in the Orlando community together to share their common bond, learn about community opportunities and benefit Jewish education. Since 2016, Men's Night Out has raised more than $51,000 to support religious schools, Jewish education, Jewish camps and youth groups, and trips to Israel-all life-defining Jewish experiences. The funds are directed to participating synagogues to use in these areas as they see fit.

"Nothing we can do today can have a greater impact on tomorrow than giving our children authentic Jewish experiences," said Bart Neuman, an organizer of the event.

This year's featured comedian is nationally known Tom Cotter. Cotter has appeared on America's Got Talent - Season 7 as a finalist, Season 8's Snapple Viewing Party and the 2019 AGT Champions Edition. He has also been on The Tonight Show, Last Comic Standing, his very own Comedy Central Special, The Howard Stern Show and multiple appearances on The Late Late Show. Sponsorships are still available. The comedian will target his program for PG13, so entire family can participate.
