Born in New Haven, Conn., on Sept. 26, 1923, to the late Jack and Shirley Greenberg Small, she was the widow of the late Hyman Yesser to whom she was married for more than 57 years when he passed away in 2003. A native of New Rochelle, N.Y., she was born on Aug. 1, 1936 to the late Frank and Phyllis Fox Eggers. Gladys “Hap” Leckart, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013. She was 91 years old. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on February 22, 1922, she moved to Norfolk, Va. and then to Miami Beach. A survivor of the Shoah, he was born in Romania on Feb. 9, 1933 to the late David Sacagiu and Chaya Birenbaum Sacagiu.
