Now entering its 13th year, Orlando Torah Academy is off to an exciting start. Enrollment has reached 165 students from 70 families in preschool through eighth grade. During the 2022 annual meetings of The Roth Family JCC and the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando it was unanimously approved to merge the two agencies into one entity called Shalom Orlando. Discussion of the merger began about five years ago with studies of Federations and JCCs that had merged successfully, including Tampa's Federation, which has existed as a Federation/JCC for more than 20 years. The Jewish Pavilion has been offering Grief Support through a Jewish Lens for close to 10 years. The program is offered twice a year - Fall and Spring. The program is five-six weeks and takes place on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. beginning Oct. 24th at Village on the Green, 500 Village Place in Longwood.
