Roth JCC to renovate courtyard playground

The Roth Jewish Community Center of Greater Orlando’s Richard S. Adler Early Childhood Learning Center is embarking on a fundraising campaign to renovate its enclosed courtyard playground, just behind its preschool lobby and outside of the infant/toddler patio.

The playground renovation will include new surfacing, a gathering area for planning and storytelling, a secret garden pathway with sensory experiences, musical instruments for the stage, wooden decking for building and planters for flowers and herbs.  New fencing will be installed around the perimeter of the playground and there will be an area for outdoor easels, and an infant/toddler patio will have a fully tiled resilient surface for the safety of the youngest children.

Since most of the funds to renovate the playground and several other JCC facilities have been raised through the Roth JCC Renovation Project, all the JCC needs now are a few more dollars to ensure that the final touches to the playground can be completed.

“We want this playground to be perfect for the children and provide them with opportunities for all types of learning experiences, so I am asking for your help in making our vision a reality,” said early childhood director Carol McNally.
