Jewish Federations' Mission to Israel and General Assembly

From Nov. 4-13, 2013, join the Jewish Federation for a very special mission to Israel that has it all: Hikes through northern nature preserves and visits to spice markets and wineries, ancient historical sites and hi-tech start-ups. Encounters with cutting-edge artists, new immigrants and Israelis from all walks of life. Opportunities to learn about coexistence initiatives, and a magical Shabbat in Jerusalem. The mission culminates with the General Assembly, the Jewish community’s signature annual event.

The GA will feature Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Minister of Finance Yair Lapid. They head a list of VIP speakers, including a new wave of Israeli political leaders plus trailblazers in philanthropy, business (including SodaStream CEO Daniel Birnbaum), religion and culture. Don’t miss the chance to meet, learn from and exchange ideas with them.

Want to learn more about this one-of-a kind opportunity? On Thursday, Aug. 8 at 4 p.m., the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando will host a conference call to provide information on the mission and answer any questions you may have. Please dial 712-432-1500 and enter 946360# as your participant access code. If you cannot make the conference call, please contact Emely Katz at 407-645-5933 x239 or ekatz@jfgo.org for more information about this unique mission.

The land cost for the mission is $3,000 (based on double occupancy) and includes GA registration. A detailed itinerary of the trip can be found at http://www.jfgo.org
