Astrology expert coming to Hadassah

The Orlando Chapter of Hadassah will hold its October regular meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Congregation Ohev Shalom beginning at 11:30 a.m. Lunch is included with a couvert of $10.
Linda Bender will be the guest speaker for the day. Her expertise is in astrology.
Bender was born in Wilmington, N.C., and grew up in Asheville, N.C. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in history and the social sciences. She married Morton Bender and moved to Central Florida in 1969, where both her sons were born. She is the proud grandmother of one grandchild.
Bender has studied astrology for more than 30 years. She has counseled many people in astrology over the years, and became an ordained minister with the Alliance of Divine Love (ADL) in 2005. She has written “The Sky Picture,” a monthly astrology article in ADL’s newsletter, since 2005, and she is writing a semi-annual astrology forecast in the ADL magazine Divine Living. She is also a Reiki master.
Linda Bender was a student of Joan “Pepe” Applegate, and used transcriptions of Applegate’s tapes as a basis for this book. Bender and Applegate intended for this book to help people unlock the secrets of their names, and learn their true potential by utilizing their gifts and talents.
Hadassah invites anyone interested to join the group for lunch and the program.
