Adult Education Series “Jews in American Politics”—7-8:15 p.m. at the Jewish Academy of Orlando. Taught by Dr. Terri Fine, the class will open with a general discussion about Jews and Judaism in American politics with a special emphasis on Jews in the Civil Rights movement. Orlando Chapter of Hadassah—Regular meeting, 11:30 a.m., at Congregation Ohev Shalom. Lunch is included with a couvert of $10. Guest speaker is astrologist and Reiki master Linda Bender.

Basic Judaism class—Congregation Bet Chaim offers a continuous class about Judaism, 7:30-8:30 p.m. Topics include: The nature of G-d, Man’s relationship with G-d, holidays and traditions, the role of Israel in human history, the Jewish truth about gender and equality, Torah as a history, Torah as the Word of G-d, and many more topics.
