Temple Israel hosts Mitzvah Fair

Phil Karr teaching the Hagbah module at Temple Israel's Mitzvot in the synagogue Mitzvah Fair.

Temple Israel is holding a Mitzvah Fair where everyone can learn about mitzvot of the home. The Fair will be held on Sunday morning, Feb. 2, right after the 9 a.m. minyan and the World Wide Wrap.

Each presentation will be limited to 15 minutes and will be taught on demand as groups form. In order to give people more time to visit each mitzvah module and to allow presenters to visit other modules, there will be two hour-long sessions. During the first hour, mitzvah modules 1-5 will be open for business and during the second hour modules 6-10 will be presented. Please see the table for a listing of Mitzvah modules and teachers.

There will also hold a raffle to encourage people to attend as many modules as possible. If you have any questions about the content please contact Rabbi Neely (407-647-3055) or Mike Fineberg (407-878-2282).

Temple Israel is located at 50 S. Moss Road in Winter Springs. For directions or further information about this event or future events please call the synagogue office at 407-647-3055 or visit http://www.tiflorida.org and click on the "Upcoming Events" button.
