Helen S Goldberg of Orlando, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at Westminster Towers in Orlando. She was 96 years old. Mrs. Goldberg was born in New York City on Oct. 23, 1917, to the late David and Gertrude Karp Weiss.

An educator for many years, she also earned her master’s degree in education. In 1980, Helen and her husband, Sam, who survives her, relocated to Orlando from New York. Mrs. Goldberg is also survived by her daughters, Randy Stills of Vermont; and Diane (Mark) Alexander of New York; and two granddaughters.
