Ruth M. Benjamin of Cedarburg, Wis., passed away on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at Florida Hospital – Celebration. She was 96 years old. Mrs. Benjamin was a winter resident of Celebration. She was born in Bombay, India, on July 26, 1917, to the late Daniel Solomon Dudker and Batsheva Dandeker.

Mrs. Benjamin was a homemaker and is survived by her son, Eric (Leah) Benjamin of Highland Park, IIl.; her daughter, Evelyn (Alan) Balkansky of Cedarburg, Wis.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services and interment took place in Milwaukee. Arrangements entrusted to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, Orlando.
