Jewish National Fund (JNF) recently hosted a series of events throughout Orlando with Goodwill Ambassador for Israel and basketball legend Tal Brody.

At Bagels and Basketball - A Lawyers for Israel Breakfast on May 15, Brody addressed the local law community on his experience with Maccabi Basketball and how this framed Israel as the "Sports Capital of the Middle East." The event was chaired by Ed Milgrim and hosted at the Alfond Inn. Later that evening, at Beer and Basketball - A JNF Guy's Night Out, JNF supporters tasted craft beers at the home of Mark Israel as Brody spoke at length about the evolution of basketball in Israel through the decades and to the present.

At a private luncheon held at Antonio's Upstairs Restaurant on May 16, Brody thanked JNF donors for their support for the land and people of Israel and gave an update on current events in Israel and JNF's important work in parks in Sderot and in the Negev. Brody's last stop in Orlando was a Shabbat celebration.
