THEM: Hateful Things—The Holocaust Memorial Resource & Education Center exhibits THEM/Hateful Things from the Jim Crown Museum of Racist Memoriabilia. A sampling of racist objects and images that remind us of the power of the propaganda of everyday objects. Exhibit runs through Dec. 15. The Center is open Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m .; Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 4 p. There is no admission charge.

Shop for Chanukah—Joanne Berman with Sterling Silver 4u will be at the Roth JCC with Judaic jewelry and Chanukah gifts. Her boutique will be open from 8:30 a.m.- 6 p.m. through Nov. 7 (open until 4 p.m.).


Jewish Genealogy Society—Meeting featuring genealogist lecturer Marlis Humphrey who will discuss the secret weapon to discovering your family history.
