Jewish Academy of Orlando gala a huge success

Shown here are (l-r) Karen and Tony Moreno, and Susan and Arnold Bierman.

Over 300 parents, grandparents and friends of the Jewish Academy of Orlando attended this year's annual gala on Nov. 1. This year's gala, titled "Jeans, Jewels and Jazz" honored the Bierman and Moreno families for two generations of commitment and leadership to the success and development of the school. Jewish Academy parents Nathalie Toledano Steinberg and Amanda Jacobson Nappi chaired the gala, which was held at the Hilton Orlando/Altamonte Springs. The gala featured silent and live auctions, entertainment and dancing, and was a fun and festive event.

The gala helped raise funds for scholarships as well as the general welfare and sustainability of the school. The success of the gala positioned the school to take the necessary steps to grow and strengthen itself now and into the future.

For more information or to arrange a visit to the school, please contact Alan Rusonik, Head of School, at arusonik@myjao.org or 407-647-0713.
