Zionistas' plan new year's agenda at holiday get-together

On Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, the annual holiday get-together was held by the Zionistas at the Garden Gate Spa in New Smyrna Beach, hosted by Karen Sandvick, former owner of the Garden Gate Tearoom in Mount Dora.
At this beautiful ocean-front setting, plans for the coming year were discussed.
Among activities planned for 2015 is the co-sponsoring of the film "Body and Soul: The State of the Jewish Nation," to be screened on Jan. 29, at Congregation Ohev Shalom. On Sunday, March 15, the Zionistas will host guest speaker Pastor Blake Lorenz of Encounter Church, who is a strong supporter of Israel. Once again they will be participating in the annual community-wide celebration of Yom Haatzma'ut (Israel Independence Day) in April.
More information on these events will be forthcoming.
Zionistas is a coalition of Christian and Jewish women united to support Israel. Founded in 2011 by Eva London Ritt, Diana Scimone, Judy Shujman and Sandi Solomon, Zionistas' goal is "advocacy, awareness and activism."
