Congregation Sinai, Minneola, Fla., will present a free educational seminar titled Celebration of Life - Planning your Legacy on Sunday Feb. 8, 2015 from 2- 4:30 p.m. The entire community is invited to attend.

This seminar’s goal is to help people make their final/legacy plans by providing information about options. Pre-need sales of memorial plaques at a reduced price, will also be available, good until Mar. 8, 2015. Anyone buying a memorial plaque will ensure that they or a loved one will be remembered with memorial services said for the name on the plaque on the anniversary of death and during the High Holidays, whether or not anyone from the family is present.

The speakers at the seminar are Joe Goldovitz, Congregation Sinai Spiritual Leader, who will discuss the religious aspect of end—of-life decisions, including the issue of cremation in the modern Jewish Community; Samuel P. Goldstein, who will describe the services that Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel provides; Walter Friedman, who will discuss planning your legacy by pre-paying for your Congregation Sinai Memorial Plaque; Fred Boesch, who will explain how to create a Memory Tribute Slide Show; and Patrick Smith, Atty., will talk about estate planning, trusts, wills and avoiding probate.
