Gayla W. Rhodes of Orlando, passed away at her home on Monday, Feb. 2, 2015. She was 61 years old. Ms. Rhodes was born in Hayti, Missouri, to Lillian J. Tackett and the late Wayne Rhodes, and grew up in California and Kansas. She was an electrical engineer graduating from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree and worked with her husband, Richard Trock, in their business Trock Media Solutions. She moved to the Orlando area from Palm Beach Gardens in 2001, marrying Rick in 2005.

The family are members of the Congregation of Reform Judaism. In addition to her husband and her mother, Ms. Rhodes is survived by her brothers, Ed Macy and Don Macy; and her sister, Terri Ann Miftah. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Andrea Eliscu and Judy Crago.

A memorial service was held at Congregation of Reform Judaism with Rabbi Steven W. Engel and Cantor Jacqueline Rawiszer officiating. The family requests contributions in memory of Gayla Rhodes to LiveStrong.org or UF Health Cancer Center at Orlando Health.
