Michael Anthony Kaplan, born Sept. 28, 1941, in New York City, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, in his Winter Springs, Florida, home. He was 73 years old. Michael was an army veteran, a brilliant entrepreneur and the most loving son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, and husband imaginable. A die hard Yankees fan and all around sports history expert; Michael was funny, his antics were timeless, and he was fiercely loyal. He ended every conversation with members of his family by saying, “I love you sweetheart,” and those words will forever be etched into the minds of those he left behind.

Michael is survived by his wife of 51 years, Eileen Joy Stein Kaplan; sister, Jane Bach; six children, Wendy, Andrew, Stephen, Jeremy, Bradley and Shayna; and 10 grandchildren. He will be missed forever, but his legacy is eternal.
