JNF's Women for Israel hosts an Israeli wine tasting

Jewish National Fund (JNF)’s Women for Israel (WFI) will host a Wines of Israel Tasting on March 24 at a private home in Longwood.

The event will feature wines that spotlight the vineyards of the Negev desert, Galilee, and the Golan Heights. JNF’s work in those areas will also be discussed, including the booming city of Be’er Sheva and JNF’s Go North initiative, which aims to attract new residents to the Galilee and strengthen the economic and social quality of the region, among other projects.

“We look forward to having a wonderful group of women attend the event for an evening out of fun and learning about wine and all of the great things JNF is doing in Israe,” said Dr. Robin Katzman, chairwoman of JNF’s Women for Israel in Orlando.

The event will also include a portion of Israeli trivia with prizes awarded to the winning teams.

The committee for the event includes Dr. Susan Drukman, Brenda Faiber, Terri Fine, Fabienne Kaplan, Dr. Robin Katzman, Debbie Meitin, JNF Orlando Board President, Charlotte Schwartz, Maxine Silverman, Dr. Shari Yudenfreund-Sujka and Pam Skipper.

JNF’s Israeli Wine Tasting will take place at 7 p.m. on March 24. Those interested in attending should RSVP to receive the location to RSVPOrlando@jnf.org or 407.804.5568.
