'Survival and Promise' with Pastor Blake Lorenz

On Sunday, May 17, at 2 p.m., the Zionistas invite the community to attend a presentation titled "Survival and Promise" by Pastor Blake Lorenz. The presentation will be held at Encounter Global Outreach, 62 S. Orange Avenue, #108, Orlando. There is no cost for admission'

Pastor Lorenz, a strong supporter of Israel, coordinated a rally at Rollins College in support for Israel during Operation Protective Edge last summer. He can be seen at events supporting AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee).

At the time of the deadly attack on a Jerusalem synagogue, Pastor Blake published "Message to Israel: We Have Your Back." In it he states, "I believe there are Christian believers who will stand with you, even to the point of laying down our lives for you. For no greater love has a man than this: to lay down his life for a friend. You can take heart in the fact that you have friends that will never forsake you."

Pastor Lorenz, a former professional baseball player, has been based in Orlando since 1984, after he graduated from Asbury Seminary. He leads Encounter Global Outreach with his wife, Beverly, who is also a pastor.

Zionistas is a coalition of Christian and Jewish women united to support Israel. Founded in 2011 by Eva London Ritt, Diana Scimone, Judy Shujman and Sandi Solomon, Zionistas' goal is "advocacy, awareness and activism."
