J.O.IN. Orlando—Hosts an interactive discussion titled :The Joy of Jewish Holidays” at 8 a.m. Shacharis at Orlando Torah Center, 8591 Banyan Blvd., Orlando. Breakfast included.

CRJ teen course—10-week class about the role people play in shaping history, taught by Sheryl Sacharoff, Ed.D., and Justin Sacharoff, from 1 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Open to all 9th-12th graders. Pizza served for lunch. Info and to register: Sheryl at ssacharoff@crjorlando.org or call 407-645-0444.

MONDAY, APRIL 13

Dinner, Daber and Dvar—Congregation Ohev Shalom offers a Jewish educational opportunity for eighth-12th graders, regardless of synagogue membership. Beginning at 5:45 p.m., enjoy pizza and conversational Hebrew. At 7 p.m. partake in “The Amazing History of the Jews,” which traces Jewish history from creation to present day. Each week is a different time in history. Participants may register for the semester or drop in and pay as they go each week. Info: 407-298-4650.

TUESDAY, APRIL 14

Poker League—7 p.m.-10 p.m. at JCC’s Jack & Lee Rosen Campus, a weekly night of old-fashioned poker fun. St. Augustine Jewish Historical Society—Meeting with guest speaker Professor Keith Schlegel.
