Pat Mandell, age 85, of Altamonte Springs, passed away on Friday, Sept. 18, 2015, at her residence. Mrs. Mandell was born on Feb. 9, 1930, in Trenton, New Jersey, to the late Benjamin and Gladys Spicer Becker. Following high school she attended Payne-Hall School of Technology in New York and became a medical technician.
On Nov. 6, 1949, in Miami, she married Marvin Mandell, her husband of nearly 65 years, who survives her. In 1968, the family relocated to the Orlando area from Miami.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Mandell is survived by her daughters, Lisa Mandell of Los Angeles, Melanie (Ronald) Schreiber of Temple Terrace, Fla., and Robin (Dominic) Ferrara of Atlanta; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Marilyn Lustgarten.
A graveside service was held at Temple Israel Cemetery, Gotha, with Rabbi Arnold Siegel officiating. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, 640 Lee Road, Orlando 32810.
