Where is the Jewish Pavilion?

Community members often wonder where they can find the Jewish Pavilion, an outreach organization and a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, that has been putting smiles on the faces of seniors of all faiths in elder facilities throughout Greater Orlando since 1998. The Jewish Pavilion is not a home for the elderly, but a resource that provides Jewish cultural support, companionship, and compassion to hundreds of residents in over 50 facilities for seniors in long-term care, with the help of its small staff and more than 350 volunteers. The Pavilion is a “mobile” community center that brings festive holiday and Shabbat celebrations, friendly visits, engaging programs and musicales right to the resident’s door, helping ensure that no senior grows old all alone. Its goal is for every member of the community to feel that he or she has not been forgotten.

Orlando’s Senior Help Desk is as a free senior resource offered by the Jewish Pavilion. Its Senior Specialist has helped hundreds of callers navigate their way through the daunting senior maze since its inception in 2012. When caregivers or family members need advice on senior services, senior living options, home health services, elder law, hospice, adult day care and more, Orlando’s Senior Help Desk is just a phone call away at 407-678-9363, http://www.jewishpavilion.org or http://www.orlandoseniorhelpdesk.org.
