A reading with author Letty Pogrebin at Rollins College

Letty Cottin Pogrebin

Dr. Yudit Greenberg, director of the Jewish Studies Program at Rollins College, is pleased to invite the community to a special event with author Letty Cottin Pogrebin in conversation with former Congresswoman Pat Schroeder and Rollins President Emerita Rita Bornstein. The event will be held on Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Galloway Room on campus.

Pogrebin is the author of "Single Jewish Male Seeking Soul Mate," an evocative novel about fractured identity, the legacy of trauma, and the restorative power of love. It is a "New York love story complicated by the tensions of Jewish American and African American history," and explores what happens when the heart runs counter to politics, history, and tradition.

This event is co-sponsored by the Program in Sexuality, Women's, and Gender Studies, the Program in Jewish Studies, and the League of Women Voters of Orange County. It is free and open to the public. No reservations or tickets are required. Parking is available in the SunTrust garage at E. Lyman Ave.
