Temple Israel brings musical murder mystery to town

 

Temple Israel is going all-out with a winning gala production directed by Eugene O'Neill award-winning playwright Ken Eulo, who will be directing the Temple Israel cast of actors in "Marriage is Murder," the world's first musical murder mystery. The play will be performed at Temple Israel on Dec. 5, at 6:30 p.m.

Eulo had his plays presented On and Off Broadway (Lincoln Center, Helen Hayes Theatre, The Gate, The Globe, Manhattan Theatre Club and the Courtyard Playhouse), has written 13 published novels and has TV credits that include having written for Benson, The Bob Newhart Show, Small Wonder, Marblehead Manor and Tales from the Darkside.

He was a creative consultant for Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles for seven years. In this capacity, Eulo was involved in many major motion picture productions.

The Gala program will bring together Temple Israel members and Orlando community for an evening of song, dance, laughter, and mystery. Along with a catered dinner by Tinamarie, participants will have the opportunity to bid on a selection of items in a silent auction or bid on a variety of options in the raffle which include dinner with Rabbi Neely, Hebrew lessons, spa services or a seven-day Daytona Beach Home vacation. There will also be a special moment after the third act where couples will be able to renew their vows with Rabbi Neely officiating.
