Purim festivities abound at the Jewish Pavilion and parties are planned in facilities all over town. Jewish and gentile residents revel in the festivities. A Purim skit, written by Cathy Swerdlow, is performed in more than 30 senior communities. Jewish Pavilion staff, volunteers, and residents take part in the plays and 1200 hamantashen are happily consumed.
