Rosen Hotels opens new event space

The Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista Hotel, part of the Rosen Hotels & Resorts family, has unveiled 2,400 square feet of new indoor event space specifically designed for weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, reunions, social events and business meetings. To celebrate, Clarion is offering a 25-percent discount off both the venue rental fees and event guest room rates through the end of the year.

The new ballroom can accommodate more than 180 people banquet-style or 265 people for a reception. For smaller occasions, the space is divisible into separate rooms, named Reflections and Serenity. Each space is equipped with high-speed wireless Internet access and state-of-the-art audio equipment with independent lighting and audio controls, making the rooms a perfect solution for small- to mid-sized business conferences. Both rooms can also open up to a covered pavilion. Ceiling fans and lake views help create a memorable indoor-outdoor venue.

"Whether for business or pleasure, this new space is designed to provide maximum impact for guests and minimum stress for the event planner," said Angie Snyder, director of Sales & Marketing, Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista.

Just seven miles from Orlando International Airport and two miles from Walt Disney World, the Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista Hotel provides a centralized hub for social events and multi-day destination wedding celebrations. The 640-room, AAA Three Diamond property is centrally-located to Florida's most popular attractions. The hotel offers free shuttle service to Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and Sea World and concierge-arranged free transportation to Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets and other upscale shopping areas.

"Whether hosting a regional business meeting or a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, Rosen's dedicated catering sales manager and impeccable banquet staff work diligently to ensure a successful event," said Snyder. "Plus, our parking is very close to the hotel and free of charge."

The addition of the Rosen Ballroom comes on the heels of a larger, multi-million-dollar renovation of the guest rooms and property, which was completed in early 2016. The hotel now features two seasonally-heated swimming pools, the child-friendly Ozzie's Splash Zone and a playground. From a culinary perspective, the Clarion offers the Boardwalk Buffet Restaurant for breakfast and dinner buffets with a kids-eat-free program for those under age nine. Sports fans can watch the game on The Comfort Zone Bar & Grille's big screen televisions and the Lite Bite Mini-Market & Deli is located in the lobby, offering snacks, sandwiches, drinks, toiletries and sundries.

As a Rosen property, the Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista Hotel also has the unique ability to cater any event with kosher food and beverage from Zayde's, a new 5,000-square-foot kitchen at the Rosen Plaza Hotel. The culinary facility was constructed in strict compliance with Halacha, with separate kitchens for glatt kosher meat, mehadirin cholov yisroel dairy and pareve. For those in the kosher community, Zayde's is available at all seven Rosen properties as well as private, off-site events.

Founded by Harris Rosen in 1974, Rosen Hotels & Resorts operates more than 6,300 hotel rooms, nearly six percent of all hotel rooms in the greater Orlando area. Harris Rosen, founder and President/COO, is a staunch supporter of local philanthropic causes and initiatives. He funded the construction of the 55,000-square-foot Jack & Lee Rosen Jewish Community Center in Southwest Orlando, is a major event sponsor of the Holocaust Museum annual fundraising gala and provides full college scholarships to hundreds of underprivileged youth from the Orlando area.
