Dot Becker passed away peacefully on Aug. 29, 2016. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, on Nov. 6, 1916, Dot and her beloved husband Harry (z”l) moved to Orlando in 1946 to establish a successful clothing store on Church Street.

Dot was greatly loved and respected by her entire family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Ida Klein, of Baltimore, Md., and her seven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by sons, Mark (“Snappy”) and wife Helene Becker, Jeff and wife Nancy Becker; and nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren: Michael Becker, Amy Becker, Jacob Becker (wife Elyse and great grandchild Quinn), Rachel Becker-Klein (husband Micah and great grandchildren Reuben and Sophie), Benjamin Will-Becker (wife Amy and great grandchildren Harry and Leo), Sarah Becker (great grandchild Aminata), Jeff Cohen, Danny Cohen-Vogel (wife Lora and great grandchildren Noah and Benjamin), and Debbie Abrams-Cohen (husband Jeff and great grandchildren Samantha and Gabriel). Also surviving are nephews William Shapiro, Robert Klein, niece Marilyn Shapiro and former daughter-in-law Lynne Portnoy.
