An evening with Dr. Harry Rein

Dr. Harry Rein

Dr. Harry Rein escaped from the Nazis on the final train existing Austria after Hitler's annexation. He was a refugee for many years and with good fortune landed in the U.S.

Rein firmly believes he has encountered angels both seen and unseen along the way who encourage him to reach higher and help him and his family in inexplicable ways.

Dr. Rein went on to become the only doctor, lawyer, and judge to practice all three professions at the same time.

On Sunday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m., Dr. Rein will be at Nate's Shul, 1701 Markham Woods Rd. in Longwood, to tell the inspiring story of his remarkable life journey filled with tragedy and triumph and he will share the means and methods for reaching goals and overcoming life's hurdles and hardships.

Rabbi Yanky Majesky of Chabad North Orlando remarked, "Despite anti-Semitism being on the rise, it is remarkable that all the serious front runners in this year's presidential race have Jewish family members. Things were very different for our people just a few decades ago. Many Jews in the U.S. were 'born on third base and think they hit a triple.' It is Jews like Dr. Rein who faced tremendous challenges and helped establish Jewish life in America as we know it today. It is honor to be hosting Dr. Rein and we are looking forward to this special evening."

Copies of Dr. Rein's book "From Stethoscope to Gavel" will be for sale at the event and there will be a book signing after the lecture.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by visiting http://www.JewishNorthOrlando.com or by calling Chabad of North Orlando 407-636-5994.
